Then lockdown hit, and like so many others, she fell into the #SkinTok world. One rule came up again and again from every dermatologist: wear SPF every single day, no matter the weather! The Skincare Industry
After studying at UCD and Smurfit Business School, Amelia moved to London and began her career in the skincare industry, working with some of the world’s biggest beauty brands. There, she developed a deep understanding of ingredients, formulation, testing, and what it truly takes to create products people can trust.
Growing up in Ireland
Growing up, Amelia and her pale skin hated SPF. It was heavy, greasy, uncomfortable and often irritating. Like for a lot of people, sun protection felt like something you were told to use, not something you actually wanted to reach for.
